Hi, I’m Angel, the founder and baker behind CURBS Cups & Confection.

CURBS began with a simple love for baking and a desire to create desserts that could bring a little warmth to someone’s day. What started in my own kitchen slowly grew into a small-batch dessert business in Burnaby.

In the beginning, I was learning everything one step at a time—testing recipes, preparing small orders, and discovering what I truly wanted CURBS to become. There were many moments when I wondered how far this little business could go. But with every order, every encouraging message, and every returning customer, CURBS continued to grow.

Today, I focus on tea-inspired sablé cookies, NY-style cookies, cheesecakes, and seasonal small bakes. I especially love creating desserts that pair naturally with coffee or tea—flavours that are thoughtful, balanced, and not overly sweet.

Everything is still made in small batches, with care and attention to detail. CURBS may be a small business, but my hope is that every box carries something meaningful: comfort, encouragement, and a little moment of joy.
